Bob Saffari is a serial entrepreneur, board member, angel investor, and co-founder of a number of silicon valley startups. Prior to founding Flairio Labs, he was a founder at Mozaik Multimedia (acquired by Rambus), a US/EU company which pioneered real-time multi-screen media streaming with frame-accurate embedded object interaction, enabling a new class of educational, entertainment, and shoppable video content. Bob was the Interim CEO and President of Technology at Vadaro, a US/Asia startup company building specialized cameras with cloud based video analytics for retail and security markets. He founded Z-Cube Microsystems, an early pioneer in real-time 3D (stereoscopic) encoders & systems. Over the years Bob has worked closely with Hollywood and online content producers, global ( CableTV, IPTV, and Satellite TV) service providers, as well as major CE manufacturers. Kishan is a seasoned marketing and business development executive with deep strategic insight in markets and technology trends. Throughout his career he has worked on game-changing technologies and bringing these to market, starting with speech coding in the early days of GSM, low latency video coding for man-machine interfaces, wireless video connectivity in the home and video surveillance, and embedded computing modules, where he chaired the standardization of COMExpress computer-on-modules, one of the most successful embedded computing standards today. His current focus is on deep learning and IoT, for which he’s actively defining innovative consumer and industrial applications. He’s held senior marketing and business development positions at Fortune 500 companies and startups, and was an adviser and consultant to Mozaik Multimedia and Ideapoke, an open innovations startup. Vadim has over 25 years experience in software development and management in various fields including digital video, computer vision, OTT, gaming, and mobile and desktop apps. He has extensive experience in architecting and designing complex distributed software systems across various platforms and devices. He conceived, designed, developed and rolled-out a number of successful products to millions of users. Vadim was co-founder and CTO of OTT streaming startup Fredio, Inc., co-founder of retail and surveillance camera startup Vadaro, CEO and founder of game developer Digital Prunes, and CTO and co-founder of home audio entertainment company Monsoon Multimedia. Siu-Wai is a veteran of the digital TV revolution with a proven track record of successfully taking new technology concepts through the complete product development cycle. He specializes in video processing, compression, and digital television infrastructure. Siu-Wai was VP of Hardware and System Solutions at Mozaik multimedia, and Director of Engineering at Rambus. He headed the development of numerous real time broadcast encoder and professional transcoder/decoder products at Motorola, which were widely deployed in major TV distribution networks. Prior to Motorola, he was with AT&T Bell Labs where he developed the world’s first ATSC HDTV system. Siu-Wai has filed 38 US patents with 28 patents issued, and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara.

Kourosh has over 20 years of experience in the field of digital video compression architecture and software development. He has worked at many iconic compression companies such as PictureTel, C-Cube Microsystems, DiviCom, LSI Logic and DivX, and has experience in embedded software architecture and design, video CODEC microcode design and development, and cloud transcoding. Kourosh has a passion for intellectual property creation with over 20 granted patents and 50 pending applications. He most recently was a faculty member at the University of California San Diego Extension for digital video compression, and is currently working at Akamai Technologies as Principal Software Engineer.
